Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Asafina Safaris representative. Depart Nairobi and drive southeast through the vibrant Kenyan countryside, passing bustling towns and farmlands.
Arrive at your luxury lodge in Amboseli in time for lunch. Settle in and enjoy the magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you will encounter large herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, and many other species with Africa’s highest mountain as a stunning backdrop.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park Rise early for a magical morning game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant population and excellent photography opportunities with Kilimanjaro in the background. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
In the afternoon, relax at the lodge or enjoy another game drive as the golden light bathes the savannah. This is one of the best places in Kenya to capture dramatic wildlife portraits.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before departing for Lake Naivasha. The scenic drive (approx. 5 hours) takes you through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with beautiful stops along the way, including viewpoints at Mai Mahiu.
Arrive at your lodge overlooking the lake for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island — one of the few places in Kenya where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes while enjoying superb birdwatching.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru (approx. 2 hours). Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, explore Lake Nakuru National Park on a game drive. Famous for its flamingos, this park is also one of Kenya’s key rhino sanctuaries, offering excellent opportunities to see both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, and a rich variety of birdlife.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve Depart after breakfast for the Masai Mara (approx. 5–6 hours drive) via the scenic Mau Escarpment route. Enjoy changing landscapes and rural Kenyan life along the way.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp or lodge in the Mara in time for lunch. Settle in and head out for your first afternoon game drive in this world-famous reserve. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and possibly leopards and cheetahs.

Day 6: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve Your full day in the Masai Mara offers maximum flexibility. Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives or choose a full-day safari with a packed bush picnic lunch.
Visit the famous Mara River crossing points, search for the Big Five, and witness the drama of predator-prey interactions. Between July and October, witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration.

Day 7: Masai Mara to Nairobi – Departure Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the camp. Depending on your flight schedule, you may take a final short morning game drive.
Thereafter, drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hours) with a stop for refreshments en route. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your city hotel for your onward flight.
